Jason Forest

Executive Producer

Jason is an executive producer, producer, and managing director of an award-winning, LA based production company that has specialized in broadcast spots, digital content, and branded entertainment films. He has represented and/or worked with scores of directors who are film, tv, and ad industry veterans including Dustin Lance Black, Darren Aronofsky, Morten Tyldum, Anne Fletcher, Justin Simien, Philip G. Atwell, Benny Boom, Gurinder Chadha, Lauren Iungerich, Tyler Spindel, Fredrik Callinggard, and Roderick Fenske.

A graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television, Jason got his first start in the entertainment business working with Wes Craven while still in college. While spending time in the film development world, he longed to be on set and immerse himself more in physical production. He took a job assisting an executive producer of a broadcast commercial company and within a year and a half, at 23 years old, he began producing tv spots.

Jason has worked on close to a thousand commercial and music video projects to date, producing media for almost every major corporate industry sector and having collaborated with musical artists such as Eminem, Pharrell Williams, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, De La Soul, Nelly, Quincy Jones, Kanye West, Hoobastank, Joan Jett, Linkin Park, The Roots, and Marilyn Manson.

He has filmed in most of the 50 states, on 6 continents, and in over 30 countries. He has produced big budget shoots with more than a thousand cast and crew and has also done small, quiet shoots for next to no money. Jason has passions for creating and storytelling and has always enjoyed embracing and integrating practical and visual fx technology into the projects he makes. With AI upon us, he’s excited about all the new possibilities that are now offered in storytelling which can be done affordably and expediently.

When not working, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and their two crazy jack Russell terriers. He has always been a big supporter of emerging talent, mentoring young directors and producers independently and through his production company. He actively funds a scholarship for film students at his alma mater, UCLA TFT, and is a member of the parents’ council at NYU’s Tisch school of the arts. He looks forward to collaborating with new creatives as they embark upon their careers in the business.
