Christy Colburn

Christy Colburn, MA, is the TFT Director of Development. Christy comes to us from the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she served as Associate Director of Development and Alumni Relations. Before Dentistry, she played an integral role in the Global Health Program at the David Geffen School of Medicine, focusing on communications, global partnership management, and donor development.

Christy brings a global perspective and extensive experience in partnership/business development, student and alumni engagement, program oversight, and working with senior leadership at Harvard, MIT, and the United Nations. She directed Harvard University’s Undergraduate Program in Global Health for many years and co-produced a conference focused on the intersection of storytelling, visual media, and social change. She also researched maternal mortality at Harvard’s Chan School of Public Health, advised international students at MIT, and provided technical support for the World Health Organization in Geneva.

Christy holds a masters degree in intercultural relations from Lesley University and has spent time living, working, and volunteering abroad in Switzerland, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Haiti, and Honduras. As a lifelong singer and performing artist, Christy is delighted to be working with fellow creatives and is excited about the power of visual storytelling to drive transformative change.
