Michael Mazzacane

M.A. Research Professions track, Cinema Media Studies

Michael Mazzacane’s area of interest involves the transmedia construction of gender, with an emphasis on masculinity, in American popular culture. He is also interested in the role intellectual property based on superhero figures plays on culture and business in the 21st century. Mazzacane is also a contributor and video producer for the graduate student-run group Cineposium.
