Jose Nateras

PhD Student

Jose Nateras (he/him) is a PhD student in Theater and Performance Studies at UCLA. A Latinx and LGBTQ+ scholar, Jose’s research explores the performative tradition of the Horror genre as it relates to marginalized identity. 

As an experienced educator, scholar, published novelist, professional performer, and produced screenwriter and playwright with a demonstrated history of working in academia as well as the performing arts & entertainment industries, Jose brings an interdisciplinary approach to his research.
