Chiara Kuo Benitez
Ph.D Student, Cinema and Media Studies
Chiara (she/her) is a PhD student and Cota-Robles fellow from Manila, Philippines. Her research centers around comparative cinemas—including Mexican, Philippine, and Chinese films and film industries—as her current project focuses on “Golden Ages” and the fraught question of national cinema. She is also more broadly interested in notions of faith and spectrality.
