
Hogan Lee
Lecturer
Hogan Lee is a Los Angeles-based Set Designer and Art Director originally from Taiwan. He began his career in the Taiwanese film industry before moving into Set Decoration on major international productions like Life of Pi (2012), Lucy (2014), and Silence (2016). After earning his MFA in Production Design from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television in 2018, he joined the Art Directors Guild and has since worked on a range of high-profile projects.
Lee was part of the art department on Mank (2020), which received the Academy Award for Best Production Design. His recent work includes contributions to Perry Mason Season 2, which was nominated for an Art Directors Guild Award. He teaches 3D modeling and digital drafting at UCLA TFT, sharing his experience with the next generation of designers.
