As part of International Production Design Week and The Cecil B. DeMille Master Class in Production Design at UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television’s MFA Production Design Program, student production designers, cinematographers and film makers are invited to a special panel with Academy Award–winning production designer Hannah Beachler (Beyoncé’s Lemonade, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) and acclaimed cinematographer Autumn Durald Arkapaw (Loki, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever).

Moderated by Professor Adam Rigg, the conversation will explore their collaboration on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and their latest film Sinners. Together, they will discuss the artistry and craft behind these iconic projects, offering insight into how production design and cinematography work hand in hand to shape story, atmosphere, and emotion on screen.
