
Sandi Logan
Lecturer
Sandi Logan has been a Casting Director for over 29 years, working on television pilots and series, reality shows, short films, Feature films, Movies for Television, and Theatre. She was nominated for an Emmy for Best Casting of a Comedy Series for “Monk.” Sandi was the in-house Casting Director for the Falcon Theatre (renamed The Garry Marshall Theatre) for over eight years, casting over 20 projects, including the LA workshop of “Pretty Woman” directed by Garry Marshall prior to its move to Broadway.
As a Casting Director, her credits include television projects including “Dynasty” (the reboot in 2017) “Nancy Drew” “Tom Swift” “Mr. Iglesias” “Notorious” “Cristela” “Boomtown” “Jennifer Falls” “Grand Hotel” “Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of ‘Mork & Mindy” “Behind the Camera: the Unauthorized Story of ‘Diff’rent Strokes,” among many others.
Sandi spent eight years at ABC as the Vice President of Casting at both ABC Network and ABC Studios, overseeing 45 pilots and series including “Modern Family” “The Middle” “Last Man Standing” Samantha Who” “Cougartown” “Nashville” “Revenge” “Ruby and the Rockits” “Scrubs” “GCB” and many others.
Film casting credits include “Pontormo” starring Joe Mantegna, “Koreatown Ghost Story” starring Margaret Cho which received several awards in various film festivals including Best Casting, and most recently the feature film “Pellett” starring Lindsey Wagner, Armin Shimerman, Peter Strauss, and Lee Tergesen releasing later this year.
Her theatre credits include casting touring actors for The Reduced Shakespeare Company, “Wrong Turn at Lungfish” written & directed by Garry Marshall, and “Bunny Bunny” starring Brendan Hunt, among others.
Sandi received her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre (with an emphasis in Directing) from UC San Diego and has lectured at various drama schools including Syracuse University, Oklahoma City, University of Washington, University of Cincinnati, and UC San Diego.
She believes in the power of positivity for actors to soar in their careers. Having the tools and knowledge of what is behind the scenes will help them to attain that goal.
