UCLA Undergraduate Student Campus Tours
Part of selecting a university is knowing what the campus looks like - its classrooms, lecture halls, recreational facilities, and residence halls (dorms). Prospective undergraduate students and their parents are encouraged to take UCLA’s General Campus Tour, which lasts approximately two hours and is led by a UCLA student guide. It's a walking tour, so we suggest you wear comfortable shoes.
Reservations are required for these campus tours, as space is limited. Please be aware that tours tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend that you make your tour reservation at least 2-3 weeks in advance. To request a reservation, please visit UCLA’s Undergraduate Admissions’ Tours page.
If you cannot make one of the guided tours, UCLA also offers self-guided campus tours via podcast. This allows you to take a tour of the campus at your own pace. To download the podcast, visit http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/podcasts/tour.html.
For additional questions on the UCLA General Campus Tours, please call (310) 825-8764.
UCLA Residence Hall Tours (Dorms)
Prospective students and parents are also invited to take a 60-minute walking tour of the UCLA on campus housing residential community. The tour includes visits to resident rooms and common areas plus an optional lunch in one of the residential restaurants. A UCLA student currently living on campus typically leads the tour. Some steep climbing is involved. Space is limited and reservations are required. To start the reservation process, visit our On Campus Housing Walking Tour page.
UCLA Graduate Student Campus Tours
Prospective and Admitted Graduate Students are encouraged to go on a campus tour tailored especially for graduate students. For more information on these tours, visit the Graduate Student Campus Tours page.
