About the show: A groundbreaking, Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning rock musical loosely based on the 1896 opera La bohème by Giacomo Puccini, Luigi Illica, and Giuseppe Giacosa, RENT tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists struggling to survive and create a life in Lower Manhattan’s East Village, in the thriving days of the bohemian culture of Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

Visitor parking is $17/day and available in Structure 3 - 245 Charles E. Young Drive East, Los Angeles, CA 90095

Directions

From the ground level of Structure 3, enter the underpass (or from the street level, cross Charles E. Young Dr. North and proceed down steps). Walk straight alongside Melnitz Hall and Macgowan Hall. Turn left at the plaza, and proceed to the courtyard. The Freud Playhouse is on the righthand side of the courtyard.
