About the project: In one of the first uses of the newly renovated Macgowan Hall 1330, Sandler will direct her MFA Project I. The focus of the project is to work in depth with the text and the actors, while keeping production design intentionally minimal. This year’s title is to be announced. The 2026 MFA Directing Project I was Far Away by Caryl Churchill.

Directions

From the ground level of Structure 3, enter the underpass (or from the street level, cross Charles E. Young Dr. North and proceed down steps). Walk straight alongside Melnitz Hall and Macgowan Hall. Turn left at the plaza, and proceed inside of Macgowan Hall.
