About the show: Clytemnestra’s world is torn apart when her husband, Agamemnon, sacrifices their daughter for advancement in the war against Troy. Ten years later, he returns triumphant and must contend with the broken relationships he left behind. What follows is a dangerous battle fuelled by love, grief, power, and resentment. Marina Carr’s adaptation of the infamous Greek myth brings Clytemnestra’s story to the fore and asks if it is possible to forgive the unforgivable.
