Anna Foltran is a Brazilian producer and programmer, and an MFA candidate of the Producers Program at UCLA. As a producer she has worked across live-action, animation, and documentary, and is currently in pre-production of “Untitled Ghost Story,” her sixth short film, continuing her collaboration with writer-director Rachel Bain.
Before moving to Los Angeles, she spent five years in the Brazilian film industry, working in development in writers’ rooms and in distribution across festival strategy and international markets, giving her a full view of a film’s path from page to screen.
Committed to championing underrepresented voices, Anna founded the Loving Latino Film Festival at UCLA, curating a lineup celebrating the breadth of Latino storytelling. She’s drawn to films that challenge conventional narrative structures, blur genre boundaries, and provoke conversation long after the credits roll—and, off-set, is an unapologetic cat lover.
