The UCLA Department of Film, Television, and Digital Media’s main screening venue, the James Bridges Theater, is a state-of-the-art, 278-seat theater named after Academy Award nominee James Bridges.
Located on the UCLA campus near the Broad Art Complex and Murphy Sculpture Garden, it features a large lobby for receptions and supports various film and video formats, including 16mm, 35mm, 70mm, and 4K digital projection.
The theater, renovated with a cutting-edge sound system, is used for high-profile events by organizations like MGM and the UCLA Film & Television Archive, thanks to support from Jack Larson and the Bridges/Larson Foundation.
