The Theater and Performance Summer International Intensive at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television Department of Theater is an intensive two to three-week summer training program that is tailored to the needs of visiting student groups and corporations. This is the perfect program for evolving artists and executives.
TAPSII provides an inclusive environment where participants can take a variety of classes including scene study, acting for the camera, voice, dialects, Suzuki, and more. Under the direction of our renowned TFT faculty, who are educators, working artists, and experts in their field, students will receive hands-on training that will develop skill, confidence, and the ability to communicate effectively. Classes are taught in English, and a translator can be provided as needed.
Beyond the classroom, there are opportunities to visit film studios and see the best artistry that the Los Angeles community has to offer. In addition, attendees have the option to immerse themselves in the full UCLA experience by reserving housing during the workshop, in the residence halls, Luskin Conference Center, UCLA Guest House or local hotels.
