Upcoming Screenings

Feb. 10: A Rising Fury

Filmed during the course of nearly nine years, A Rising Fury follows two hopeful Ukrainian idealists who meet and fall in love during the Revolution of Dignity (2013-2014). When they lose their homes because of the Russian invasion, they find themselves on the battle lines — protecting their land, democracy and relationship. Feb. 11: Daughters of
the Dust

Julie Dash’s (MFA ’85) 1991 masterpiece Daughters of the Dust recreates a long-marginalized part of American history with stunning visual power. Become a TFT Mentor!

TFT’s first production mentorship program last fall was a smashing success! Production alumni were paired with current graduate film production students and both mentors and mentees had rewarding experiences. We’re doing it again this spring! All it takes to be a mentor is three conversations with a student between April and June. If you're interested in giving back to a current student in the production program, email Lisa Reeve at lreeve@tft.ucla.edu by March 1.
