Amy Winfrey
Lecturer
Lecturer Amy Winfrey teaches interactive animation and writing for animation courses at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
She is currently a director on the popular Netflix original animated series BoJack Horseman starring Will Arnett, Amy Sedaris, Alison Brie and Aaron Paul.
Winfrey was the creator of the 2008 Nickelodeon television series Making Fiends and an animator on the first and second season of Comedy Central's South Park. She also animated the 1999 feature film South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.
Her independent animation has been featured in the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, the Seoul International Animation Festival and The World Animation Celebration.
A Southern California native, Winfrey received her B.A. in English from UCLA and her M.F.A. from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
