UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television Tours

The UCLA School of the Theater, Film and Television offers tours of our facilities for prospective students and their parents on a limited reservation basis. Reservations are required for all tours, as space and dates are limited.

Our recruiters offer two different tours depending on the student's area of interest. We offer Tours of our Theater Facilities and Tours of our Film, Television and Digital Media Facilities.

Only guests with reservations will be allowed on a given tour.

Due to performances, rehearsals, and classes, guests on tours may not be able to go into some rooms. Also, there are limited spaces on our tours.

For a schedule of all our tours, visit: http://uclatftevents.eventbrite.com/.

If a tour is not scheduled during a time you can visit, we encourage you to visit our office and take a self-guided tour. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 – 4:00. We are located in 103 E. Melnitz Hall.

For directions to East Melnitz Hall, please visit www.tft.ucla.edu/about/map/.

In addition to our tours, we are hosting Information Sessions to educate applicants about our Theater and Film programs. These sessions cover information about our two departments, the application process, the portfolio/audition/interview requirements, housing, student life, summer programs, and financial aid/scholarships.

For more information on these information sessions, go to: http://tftrecruitment.eventbrite.com/.

If you have additional questions about our tours, please send an email to recruit@tft.ucla.edu or call us at 310-206-8441.

UCLA Campus Tours

Part of selecting a university is knowing what the campus looks like - its classrooms, lecture halls, recreational facilities, and residence halls (dorms).

Prospective students and their parents are encouraged to take our general UCLA campus tour, which lasts approximately 90 minutes. The tour is a walking tour, so we suggest that you wear comfortable shoes.

Reservations are required for all tours, as space is limited. Please be aware that tours tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend that you make your tour reservation at least 2-3 weeks in advance.

To request a reservation, please visit UCLA Undergrad Admissions: UCLA Tours.

If you cannot make one of the guided tours, UCLA also offers and tours via Podcast at: http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/podcasts/tour.html where you can have a tour at your own speed.

You may also contact campus tours at (310) 825-8764 or (310) 206-3719.
