Theater Minor

Part of the Theater department

The Theater minor is designed for students who wish to augment their major program of study with a series of courses that promote the study of theater as a global phenomenon for reflecting the human experience.

Minor petitions will only be accepted from week three to week six of the regular academic quarters and in the month of August for summer.

Students can petition to formally add the minor after they have met the following requirement:

  • Complete two theater courses from the minor list with a grade of C or better

Please follow the procedures below to declare the minor:

  • Required Lower Division Courses

    Students must complete a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 units from the following list of lower division courses.

    Students are required to take a minimum of 22 and a maximum of 27 units from the following upper division courses.
