“Walk the Line” cinematographer Phedon Papamichael (Sideways, The Weather Man) mugs with cinematographer and professor Tom Denove at a special sneak preview of the Johnny Cash movie starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspon at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television on November 14, 2005. “Walk the Line” is a chronicle of country music legend Johnny Cash’s life, from his early days on an Arkansas cotton farm to his rise to fame with Sun Records in Memphis, where he recorded alongside Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. Directed by James Mangold and written by Gill Dennis & James Mangold.
