Alum Curt Beech gets "Smart"

Alumnus Curt Beech MFA ’03 has his latest in a string of illustrious credits as an Assistant Art Director on the film re-make of the beloved Mel Brooks/Buck Henry spy spoof TV series of the 1960s, “Get Smart.”

Beech has worked in the art department on, among others, Michael Mann’s “Collateral” (2004), Steven Speilberg’s “War of the Worlds” (2006) and Mike Judge’s “Idiocracy” (2006).

Beech is the credited Art Director on the TV series“Miss/Guided” (created by alum Caroline Williams MFA ’04) and moves up to Art Director ststus on J.J. Abrams’ upcoming “Star Trek” (2009).
