Current students and recent graduates picked up three prizes at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation’s 30th College Television Awards.
Awards were presented on Saturday, March 21, in Los Angeles, at a ceremony hosted by Tom Bergeron. 214 Schools in 42 states submitted more than 700 films to the competition.
Julie Sagalowsky and Josh Feldman took Best Comedy honors for the 2008 Spotlight winner "Lucy: A Period Piece".
Joaquin Baldwin won the Third Place nod in animation for his ANNIE-nominated short “Sebastian’s Voodoo”.
Third Place in the drama category went to Hezekiah L. Lewis, III MFA ’08 for “Warrior Queen”, a prize shared with collaborators Yule Caise MFA ’07 and David Harris MFA ’08.
