Theater alum Aleks Pevec ’07, fresh from a successful run in the Los Angeles production of “Wicked” at the Ahmanson, took on the demanding title role in a new local staging of “The Who’s Tommy” that had a special two-week engagement in June at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood.
“The cast is led by Aleks Pevec's mesmerizing performance as the deaf, blind and dumb Tommy,” raved a widely syndicated review first published in The Hollywood Reporter. “Whether he's singing, dancing, flying through the air like Peter Pan or narrating, Pevec has the audience loving his every move.”
You can see at Aleks at work on the role in a series of mini documentaries created for the Internet. James Sims of the website BroadwayWorld.com created a series of making-of “webisodes” that are linked on TheWhosTommy.com.
