Darren Star Honored At the Spotlight Festival

UCLA alumnus Darren Star (“Sex and the City, Beverly Hills 90210”) received the Distinguished Achievement Award in Screenwriting during the Screenwriting Showcase, which featured selections from new works by award-winning graduate screenwriting students Monday, June 9th at the Freud Playhouse. Star is pictured here with Chair of the UCLA Film/TV Department Barbara Boyle and Screenwriting Professor Richard Walter. “Sex and the City” returns to HBO for its final season on Sunday, June 22.
