NEW FOR 2008 - PODCASTS!

This summer will debut new websites and course materials. Pre-recorded lectures have been enhanced with new graphic elements and video clips. These bi-weekly lectures will be available as enhanced video podcasts for iPod and iPhone in addition to viewing on the web. Audio only downloads will be available for all MP3 players.

THE PRODUCING TRACK

Senior faculty of the UCLA Producers Program provide you with the knowledge and skills to succeed in the film and television industry. Courses can be taken independently or in tandem for an overall concentration in producing.

THE SCREENWRITING TRACK

Taught by legendary screenwriting teacher Richard Walter, the Screenwriting Fundamentals Workshop starts with the basics and guides you through a complete outline for an original feature script. Take that outline and write the first act of your screenplay in Advanced Screenwriting Workshop in Session C. Walter's students have written such films as Sideways, Men In Black, Ace Ventura, Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds and others. Courses can be taken independently or in tandem for a concentration in Screenwriting.

BUILD A PROGRAM

Mix and match from courses in both Screenwriting and Producing to fashion a specialization in the creative development and realization of projects for television and the big screen.
