Cultural traditions and an outsider’s hard-charging disciplinarianism conflict when new teacher Kenny Williams arrives at Three Nations High School. As Williams coaches the foundering girls’ basketball team to the state tournament, confronting hardships and racial tensions along the way, a journey of understanding unfolds for both teacher and students in this uplifting sports drama inspired by a true story.
