UCLA Production/Direction students in an experimental workshop became the crew of a "Mobisode" TV series for MTV's on-campus cable channel

Filmmaker and visiting professor Kevin Smith ("Zack and Miri Make a Porno") and filmmaker and lecturer Rory Kelly '86, MFA '03 ("Documentarians in Love") co-taught an experimental workshop that created "Mobisode" magazine-format shows about entertainment that ran on Amp'd Mobile cell phones and on mtvU and mtvU.com.
