UCLA Certificate Program in Producing

The perfect alternative to a degree program, the UCLA Professional Certificate Program in Producing provides an intensive overview of the contemporary film and television industries and introduces students to the tools needed to navigate the studio and independent marketplace. This graduate-level certificate program is modeled after the MFA Producers Program at UCLA and has academic oversight by the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. Classes are taught by both regular UCLA faculty and some of the top professionals in the field.

UCLA Summer Workshops in Screenwriting

A fantastic introduction to UCLA screenwriting. Students meet once per week in a three-hour workshop that stresses the theory and craft of professional screenwriting. Over the course of ten weeks, each student develops a concept, outlines a story, and completes the first act of an original feature screenplay. The Summer Workshops in Screenwriting are offered both on campus and online.
