Theater BA Supplemental Information

In order to consider your application to UCLA Theater, the faculty review committee requires the following supporting materials, which must be sent via postal mail and postmarked no later than January 29, 2010:

Download and complete the Questionnaire for Applicants to the UCLA Department of Theater. Print and send it in with your other supplemental materials.
A Resume of your theater training and experience in your area of interest that may include any of the many aspects of theater, film, and television including acting, musical theater, directing, design production and stage management, playwriting, and theater studies.
Photocopies of all transcripts, which include overall grade point average. These unofficial copies are in addition to the official transcripts required by the UCLA Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The unofficial copies are for the Theater faculty committee’s use and must be submitted with the questionnaire.
A copy of the personal essay you submitted with your UC Application for Undergraduate Admission.
For design and playwriting applicants:
1. Design applicants: an essay (5 pages maximum) on your design approach to a specific play.
2. Playwriting applicants: samples of your creative writing, which may include scenes or complete plays. Note that these materials will not be returned to you.
