Darren Star

Darren Star is the Creator and Executive Producer of three of the last decades most popular television phenomena: the multiple Emmy and Golden Globe winning series “Sex and The City”, as well as “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Melrose Place.”

Among Star’s other credits are the series; “GCB” starring Kristen Chenoweth and Leslie Bibb, “Cashmere Mafia” starring Lucy Liu, "Miss Match" starring Alicia Silverstone, "Kitchen Confidential" starring Bradley Cooper, “ The $treet”, “Runaway” and “Central Park West.” He also created the cult hit “Grosse Pointe” which memorably satirized his years on “Beverly Hills, 90210.”

Star executive produced the successful feature films based on “Sex and the City.” His feature writing credits include the Warner Brothers film “If Looks Could Kill” and “Doing Time on Planet Earth."

Star is currently writing and producing the “Viagra Diaries,” a half hour comedy for HBO starring Goldie Hawn.
