Adam Flemming is an award-winning Los Angeles-based projection and scenic designer. His regional work includes productions with the Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles Opera, South Coast Rep, Pasadena Playhouse, Falcon Theatre, Deaf West Theatre, The Wallis Annenberg Center, Long Beach Opera, The Theater @ Boston Court, A Noise Within, The Autry’s Native Voices, East West Players, and Pasadena’s unique site-specific Wicket Lit productions. Nationally he has had productions with the Guthrie Theater, the Goodman Theatre, Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre, New York’s Rattlestick Playwright’s Theater, Chicago Opera Theater and Diablo Light Opera Company.
Flemming is currently employed full time with Walt Disney Imagineering as a video media designer and has been involved in many national and international projects with his team at WDI. His unique career path from scenic art to set design to media production has led to a diverse background spanning hundreds of shows and entertainment outlets. In addition to UCLA TFT, he has taught at UCSD, CSULA and the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts.
Flemming received a 2014 LA Stage Alliance Ovation Award, a 2014 LA Drama Critics Circle Award and the 2013 LA Weekly Award for best projection designs of the year. He received his master of fine arts degree from the California Institute of the Arts and is a Projection category member of United Scenic Artists Local USA829. adamflemmingdesign.com.
