Set painter and scenic artist Kimberly Lyons has worked in theater, opera, television and film.
On stage, she has painted for the Santa Fe Opera, South Coast Repertory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theater, Cirque Du Soliel and Disney, among others. Her television and film credits include ABC's Wipeout and Black-ish, NBC's Fear Factor, TV Land's Hot in Cleveland, Fox's Brooklyn 99 and Universal's Jurassic World. She is currently working on NBC’s The Player.
A union member of both local 729 as a set painter and local 800 for scenic art for TV and film, Lyons has been in the Los Angeles area for the past 13 years and has taught for more than eight years.
She earned her M.F.A. in scene design and scene painting from California Institute of the Arts.
