Joe Rosenberg teaches graduate courses on the Agency and Management Business in both Professional Programs and the M.F.A. Producers Program in the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television’s Department of Film, Television and Digital Media.
Rosenberg’s experience stretches across all levels of the Hollywood executive ranks. His career started in representation, earning his reputation as a top agent at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where his clients were such A-list talent as Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, David Fincher, Michael Bay, Luc Besson, Terry Gilliam, Mark Romanek and Todd Haynes, among many others.
Moving from agenting to development and production, Rosenberg was hired by Ted Field’s Radar Pictures. While there, he executive produced the Farelly Brother’s 2007 remake of The Heartbreak Kid, starring Ben Stiller, and oversaw the company’s well-funded slate of films.
In an industry where relationships are currency, Rosenberg’s connections span all the major studios, as well as every agency and management company. He has identified and negotiated more than 250 development and production projects for both the major studios and independent/international financiers.
