Adele Cabot

About DeanAdele Cabot is a voice, dialects, acting, and dialog coach as well as actor and theatre director. She has taught and coached voice and acting all over the world, including New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, London, China, and South Korea. She was an actor in residency at Shakespeare's Globe in London through their International Fellows Program and later returned as Program Director and Master Teacher for their Teaching Shakespeare Through Performance program. She is a Past and Present faculty member at Shakespeare & Co in MA, Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum in LA, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre School, in Washington D.C.; a Voice and Speech Consultant at Arena Stage., A Noise Within; a Guest Teaching Artist at CalArts, Shanghai Theatre School, Seoul Institute for the Arts, AMDA (NY), Mary Washington College/Shenandoah Shakespeare; and taught full-time in the theatre departments at University of Maryland, College Park and Cal State Northridge. As a life-long actor and award-winning director, Ms. Cabot performs extensively in all mediums from Shakespeare to Stand Up. She was trained and designated by Kristin Linklater in her voice technique, holds an MFA in Acting from Brooklyn College, CUNY, and trained with Paul Sills in Improvisation.
